Dropbox really is fucking cool

I've always wanted to have a place online I can store files I need to get at later, or shit I simply cannot lose if my house was in flames, things like photos, or the not entirely innocent video of what I secretly do to my girl when she's sleeping. This stuff is important!

I used to use a thing that converted my Gmail account into online storage, which serves its purpose, but clogs my Inbox with crap, and I get enough email from the Republican Party, thank you.

I StumbleUpon'd Dropbox just tonight, and it seems to be the answer to my atheist prayers. Once you register, it installs an app that syncs between Dropbox and a specially assigned folder on your computer, seamlessly. Just drag and drop your stuff between your desktop and Dropbox. It's so simple, even Bristol Palin's unborn baby could do it.

It's meant to be in beta, but it seems pretty damn stable to me. I'll give it a while before I trust it with my Leah porn.

It plays nice with Mac, Windows and Linux, while being very nicely integrated with each OS, which is good to see.

Oh, and it's fucking free.

Doctor Who? Doctor Who! Featuring breasts

The Swansea observatoryImage via Wikipedia Yesterday I went to Swansea to peruse a Doctor Who exhibition. I was overwhelmed by the sheer Swanseaness of it.

Ambitious, but shit.

The fine residents of Swansea had been promised 'memorabilia, sketches, and all sorts of assorted Doctor Who goodies'.

What we got was one Dalek thing, a few design drawings, and well, that's it.

Top stuff Swansea. Mind you, this is the city that built a football stadium and didn't think that maybe people would want to get there safely.

Talking of the stadium, I went there yesterday also, to get tickets for Saturday's game. I was served by a very friendy young woman with magnificent breasts. So well done to her. I'm pretty sure that as she said '£32 please, sir', that we shared a moment of unbridled ticket service flirtation.

I also bought a blue Swansea away shirt, I think it looks very classy.

Well in Rangel son.

And that was my adventure!

Religion + Government = Disaster

The British Houses of Parliament, LondonImage via Wikipedia

So the human embryo research Bill is being voted on in Parliament soon, with the news that Labour MPs are to get a free vote on it.

The Catholics have stuck their oar in again, saying that if the bill is passed, then it will be no more than murder, destroying the 'sanctity of human life'.

Bullshit. What destroys the 'sanctity of human life', is telling a terminally ill person they're going to die because some religious zealots refuse to let science advance, because a bunch of cells (unable to live unaided btw) would 'die' for it.

Yet another example of religion + government = disaster.

Let's just let every MP vote with their conscience, would be nice to see some actual democracy for a change.
